24 week check-up

6/13/07

Yesterday was my 24 weeks check up and what i day it was. My mom picked me up after midnight and by the time she picked up her dog I got Isabella settled in it was after 3 before we went to bed. I got over to Kami's had my check up. Everything is looking good Emma's Heart rate was in the 150's and I gained 5lbs since last time. Yikes !!!!! Kami said that was fine since I lost soo much in the beginning I'm finally back to my pre-Pregnancy weight. For Me I'm not letting hat happen every month. I'm going to eat a little bit more healthier and maybe cut out the late night snacks LOL. After the appointment we went back to moms for a little bit I played outside with Isabella she found a frog haha. Then Mom, Bella, & I went to lunch and then Shopping. We spent hours in Target. we are going to the beach next week. I bought a 2 piece bathing suit and I wanted to get a skirt to put over it at the beach. They didn't have any swim suit Skirts so I thought I just get a regular one. I tried of soo many different kinds. The ones I thought would be cute we're sooo not cute on me. I looked huge and not pregnant huge I looked liek a darn flower my butt was as big as my belly is was horrible. I finally found one that worked. I also ran into a lady who I use to baby-sit for OMG her little girl got soo big and she turning into a lovely young lady she is 8 now. in honors classes at school. She also has a little sister now. and for once someone didn't say anything mean or judgmental it was very nice. Then I took Isabella who was drive me crazy at this point to look around at the baby stuff and shoes. I found some flip flips for her. didn't find anything that impressed me much for Emma then we met up with my mom and went back to look at shoes and other stuff for her. I spent over an hour by the shoes and stuff and as we were walking we noticed Isabella went shopping for Emma she had like 5 outfits for Emma in the basket.. We went back to my moms to pack up I went to visited with my moms neighbor for a while. Then we left to stop at this other store. I bough Emma a carters blanket for $4 and beach bag for us. by the time I got back home it was almost 10. I was soooo tried my body hurt sooo bad I wasn't use to being shopping that long. I feel asleep but then woke up at 2am with my legs hurting and such ended up taking a bath to relax and then I had heartburn !!! ugh already.... I forgot how bad it hurts it took me forever to get back to sleep. but allis good with baby and I. i see Kami again on July 10th. Isabella took 2 pictures of me at the appointment

24 weeks

6/11/07

I'm 24 weeks now. I have been very busy cleaning and never feeling like i'm satisfied with what I' done there always more I wish I would have done today, but it always there tomorrow but so is something else. I've had a ton of appointments for the kids or me or just something that has to be done I"m always on the go and by the end of the day I'm Beat. Emma is beating up my bladder these days. Sleeping is getting very hard between the two dozen Trips to the bathroom each night and trying to flip over in bed she is preparing me for my sleepless nights already. I thought I was finished with my morning sickness it had been weeks I was feeling good but tonight after dinner I threw up all I ate and i'm 24 weeks ugh it looks like I may just be one of those people that is truly doesn't go away. today I went to walmart and picked her up 2 little winder outfits on clearance. so cute one was 3/6 mths and one is newborn the bigger one I'm hoping i can just roll up the sleeves and pants but it be December by the time she 3 mths so she will grow into it. I also got a a bathing suit I was trying it on when I took these Pictures you can see it sticking out of my shirt I'll get some pictures of me in once we go to the beach. but here is my 24 week pictures.

ugg that sucks hope it goes away completly is till feel sick on the morning! i feel the same awy about cleaning nothing seems good enough or it really bugs me!! big huggies love ya sis!! cute outfits but the belly pics didnt work

one excited big sister

I sat down on the sofa to relax only to become part of the girls playing yes you read that right the girls were playing. Bella lifted my shirt and would shake a rattle place it on my tummy then play zack little piano put he ear up on my belly said you like that emma she also was pushing on my tummy and Emma would push back and Bella would laugh at her all of Bella's dolls have been re-named Emma this went on for about 15 mins it was sooo cute and funny.

Emma's Birth Announcement

I made Emma's Birth Announcement today. I was really frustrated the past few days looking for what I need for it and what I had in mind ready to scream someone do this for me, but Once I started working on I found out I could do it myself and it came out great if I do say so myself. I made 2 of them one with the blank spots for her info and pictures and another with fake info and pictures of Isabella so I can see what it will look like and I am pleased with the result !

22 weeks

5/28/07

I'm now 22 weeks pregnant with little Emma. She and I are doing well nothing major to report. We had our 3d ultrasound last week and can't wait til the next one at 28 weeks I see Kami again on June 12th that is always sooo much fun ......... I am getting out there. Saw some extended family over the weekend many had only heard I was "still pregnant" so I got many questions and looks but after five I'm use to it. I very happy to be pregnant with little Emma. I can't wait til September when I can hold her and nurse her and the kids can see their new baby sister, but until then I'm enjoy my sleep while I can.

First off there no need for anyone to respond to this. I am in no way asking for anyone to get anything for Emma. I am typing this up just for my own info.

List A things she has

a small playpen (for me to lay her down in while downstairs during the day)

A swing (Zack's old one)

Bath tub (Alex, Cam, Bella,& Zack's)

Bouncy seat (Zack's)

a dresser

some clothes and Blankets

some socks

most of her needs for being cloth Diapered

co-sleeper Basinette

Crib bedding

her crib is still in the works

List B her needs

car seat

lots 0-6 months clothes (Pj's, shirts, pants, onzies, & dresses)

more socks

more blankets Pink & purple

Diaper Bag mine is shot

a brest pump cause in the begining i need something I usually in lot of pain my babies do nurse enough as they should to keep up with me

2 dozen infant size prefolds

mini shower (for the toilet to help with Cleaning her cloth diapers)

Laundry bag for her diaper pail

baby shampoo. lotions , & personals



List C needs for Emma's birth

this is the list kami gave me for the birth

Oversize t-shirt or gown (got it)

Hair tie (we have tons)

Birth plan (i guess I need to get to work on that)

Roll of paper towels

6-8 receiving blankets (working on it)

Towels and wash clothes

an Extra baby hat (got it)

healthy snack for mom and birth team( something to get towards the end)

Small bottle of olive oil

Witch hazel for baby cord ( i have some now have to make sure i still do closer to the birth)

Over night menstal pads (ugh)

Digital thermometer (mine is about shot)

Table cloth or shower curtin

Two sets of bed sheets for bed ( i want to get an extra set for the birth but it's kinda pricey with a kin size bed)

5-7 lemons and a jar of honey and/or recharging juice

a small fish net

lots of towels

two large kettles

a tarp

and a blow up birthing pool I can get ti for about $30 or less I hope

$50 birth kit form in his hands

my 1st 3d ultrasound

5/23/07

I had my first 3D Ultrasound of 3. It was pretty neat looking. Emma wasn't in the best place to get the best 3d shots and she kept hiding on us but she is still a she. and she was very cute I got a VHS, DVD, & Cd of pictures of her. Darin, Zack, & Bella came with me. My Grandma had the boys I take them to another one. It was fun and I can't wait to go again which will be around 28 or 29 weeks.
