We'll Sunday I notice she felt a little warm. Darin didn't think so, but I knew she wasn't her normal self. Sunday night I still thought she felt warm and she wasn't sleeping well. I gave her some tylenol. Monday morning she seemed okay. Once Afternoon hit her temp was coming back. We started the motrian and tylenol every other dose. The night was rough the fever was up to 102.9 at somepoints wouldn't stay away for for the 2 hours and when she was hot she would not sleep she would latch on to nurse, but would come unlatched and scream. Tuesday morning it was gone. I wait for it to come back before putting in a call to the doctor, but it didn't come back til around 2pm and it was mild and by that point her and I were dozing off together and then the kids got home and I was wrapped up in homework, but 5pm it was pretty high again. I said I was def calling the doctor on Wed. Tuesday right was bad not much sleep. Wed around 6am I was having a horrible time with her crying steaming hot only 2 more hours I told myself. If only I could get her and I to sleep for these hours. 8am finally came I called the office and got in for a 10:10 appointment. I got there at 9:30 I am never early but I was on that day. I had been feeling her ears for drainish to look for a ear infection since she has tubes nothing. her nose was clear as well. The doctor looked her over head to toe for ear infection, rashes, in her throat she said it was red tested her for sterep that came back negative. However, she said her throat is red and that is the cause of her fever is a sore throat and sent me home with more tylenol. She did notice a fever blister on her lip. I informed her she was eating well as far as solids went but she was nursing just wonderful if not better, but she was worried about the blister being transfer from my breast and then back to her. She suggested pumping I told her she wouldn't eat that way she would just scream worse and wouldn't eat. She wasn't sure waht to suggest I told her I would call the LLL. We came up with a plan to use the gentian violet. So Emmaleigh has a purple mouth I have purple nipples, but oh well. She isn't eating well so thank God she is still nursing she won't take any solid foods not even apple sause. Last night was rough too I swear I was so tired I wish someone would throw me across the room and knock me out cold. I had someone coming over and I knew I needed to call and cancel, but Darin got up with the kids and Emma finally feel asleep and I couldn't move to call her. I felt bad about not calling her, but she said it was fine she was right down the road whew !!! now it Thursday evening and her fever is going up again. I wish it would go away I don't know what to do to help her. I may call the doctor again tomorrow cause I feel like were just in the endless cycle and nothing is helping we not treating her just using the tylenol to cover up the fever and it tempoary helps her, but it feel like we are going like this way too long. hopfully she will be beter soon.
