Emmaleigh's 2nd Birthday Party

Emmaleigh's 2nd Birthday party was Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 1pm. I got up early. I had planned on getting shower and dressed and then going down to the club house to meet up with the people renting it to me. that didn't work out. I just threw on some clothes packed the car up. I looked around at the kids, Alex was the closet to having some clothes on and would probably be the most help to me. I told up to get his shoes on and come with me.It was nice to spend some time alone with him.

I got there went though the check list and signed the paper work. Then we unloaded the van. set up the tables and chairs. put what food we had brought in the fridge and decorated. I have to admit it looked good and we did it all in 1 hour. My mom called while I was there. she couldn't find the number for the lady who was making the cake. I was freaking out thinking my daughter wouldn't have a cake. She promised me I would so I tried not to think about it too much. Alex and I drove home.

When I got home I took a bath with the 3 little ones talk about crowded tub !!! I really didn't have a choice since Darin had left to get the ballons and some for the chilli he had forgottten. We finished getting everyone dressed and ready then I took Alex, Cam, & Bella back to the club house to drop off the ice chest, ballons, watermellon, and pool toys. I wondered what was wrong with this picture I pushing around a heavy ice chest and he home cooking, but on days like this I can't sit still and cook I have to be moving. I got back to pick up Darin and the 2 babies and we out the door for 12pm! We stop by the club house to drop to drop off the chilli and then to run by walmart Emma lost her earings. I was in and out of walmart in 7 minutes that has to be a record time LOL !

I got to the club house for 12:30. My mom called to say i have a cake whew ! Got the ballons set up got a few pictures of Emma before everyone showed up which was my mom, her boyfriend rob, my dad, granny, grandpa, cousin & emma got mother amie with her husband and son dylan, my cousin aimee, aunt diane(dee), cousin christina her boy friend jodi and daughter brianna, my friend alishia with her husband kirt and daughter ella & alyssa. emma PT from when she was a baby Linda and her 2 grandaughters. So she had a great turn out.

We had a blast swimming, eating cake, ice cream , hot dogs watermellon and throwing alex in the pool and having a fight with Alex shirt !! we were there untill about 8pm cleaning up and came home to crash after a long day.
