Emmaleigh is 8 months old now. Where has the time gone ? I love watching her grow and learn new things, but I hate that the time seems to fly by so fast with my last baby. She is doing well for a baby born 7 1/2 weeks early. She is 8 months old and weighs almost 14 pounds now that may not sound huge for 8 months but, for a baby who was only 4lbs 8oz I think that is great. We have not started on solids yet. We could if we wanted it, but I'm not going to just because she is 8 months old. We are watching the baby not the calendar. She is doing well. After 6 months they should gain a 1/2 a month and she gain 14oz last month and that is all on my milk. So until we see that she needs more than her milk we keep doing what we can. She is meeting her milstones pretty well which i think it pretty good for a baby being born at 32 weeks. Saturday we are going to the walk for the march of dimes I'm pretty excited about that. We well make a family day of it and enjoy our special little preemie princess !
