tubes

It's over we have our tubes in. I was told I could nurse her up to 3am, still I was worried so I went to target picked up 3 different types of Paci's. I woke her up to eat at 12:30am and I planned to wake her up at 2am to eat again how ever Hubby set a clock that isn't very good goes off when it wishes and she woke up at 4:15 to eat. I tried to pat her back to sleep that made her mad. I tried to 3 different kinds of Paci's I'm lucky she isn't bigger cause she prob would have thrown me out the window. She was not happy she knew what she wanted and knew I knew and didn't understand why I couldn't give it to her. I was starting to leak as well. So I got up no point in trying to sleep with a very upset baby girl. I pumped out about 4oz on one side the other side wasn't hurting so I left it alone. We got dressed and to the hospital right on time 5:45am. She was sooo cross they check her in took her vidals asked a few questions. last time she eat, last wet diaper, ect. Then they left us alone with her and I felt soo horrible she had red puffy eyes from all the screaming and would look up at me with those baby blues and just blink and she had this look on her face like mama I so hungry why won't you feed me I felt soo horrible I started crying I had to walk out the room a few times seeing me made it worse for her and I couldn't take the looks. she finally feel asleep a little after 6am and they took us back at about 6:30 and took her from us about 6:50am she went with them pretty easy it was fast over in about 10 mins and I was with her and tried nursing her she was a bit fussy once I got in the room I crawled in the bed with her and she nurse to sleep and slept for about an hour before they came in and let us go home I took her home and got into bed with her and let her nurse as much as she wanted while I napped and she was back to normal and happy by this afternoon. now hopefully we on the road to feeling better now we just fighting a nasty yeast infection due to all those antibiotics but hopfully that is all behind us now.

Oh, I can relate to having to leave the room. I went through the same thing when Austin had his surgery. I felt terrible.

AWWW...i am soo sorry for that ...I know when Summer had to have an extra thumb removed when she six months and we went through the same thing....I was crying with her....LOL ...but it is all behind you know....hope she adjust well to the tubes....

Aw, the not eating is the hardest part for them. They don't understand and Mommy is full of guilt! I remember having to leave Caetlyn with dh when we had to do this (for reflux testing). Glad Emma is back to her chipper self!#2 Comment from greeneyes2587 | Email greeneyes2587

glad it all went well!!! I totally felt your pain and sadness when I read the part when she looked up at you at the hossy thinking why can't you feed me mommy I so hungry. Poor baby. Glad she has her booby back and all is well!
