WBV

Today Emmaleigh had her Four almost 5 month Well baby visit. She is 11 lbs 12oz and 24 inches. Her head is 15 1/2 inches. It was an okay appointment I had better. My doctor wasn't his usually self he had an intern in there. SO he was acting differently Then He normal does. Then When I went to make an appoinment for Emmaleigh next apoinmtment in 2 months I am total free any day I can do it. The other doctor is leaving cause she is having twin girls. SO now my doctor is only doing well baby visits until 9am I have 3 kids inschool I can't get there before 9:15 and 9:15 is pushing it and they do the first visit of the afternoon at 1:30 WBV, but I have to pick my kids up from school Isabella at 2pm. There no way for me to get my kids to school and get there for 8:30-9:00 am Isabella doesn't start school until 8:30-8:45 On Mon & Thu Zack goes to school at 9:15 so I just asking for them to give me an apt tue, we, or Friday at 9:15 or later, but not after 1:30pm maybe I'm asking too much I asked them to ask the doctor, but they are acting like this is it ! So it looks like Emma won't see the doctor unless she is sick until next summer I wish I could talk to him about it. I guess I have to wait til one of the other kids need a visit or something and ask him. I don't think I'm asking to much but maybe I am. What another stressful day. here some pictures of Emmaleigh

Sounds like she's doing great! And I don't think you're asking too much. Seems like that is a very narrow window for visits. I wouldn't be able to make those times either and I've only got 2 kids!!#3 Comment from momlibbe | Email momlibbe

Usually in a situation like that, if you just tell them you won't be bringing her if you don't get the time you need, they'll see what they can do. You have to talk to the nurse (or doctor) because they have the ability to put you in a time slot that the regular scheduler can't.

What I would do if I were you is call in and ask to speak to the nurse. Explain the situation very calmly. Ask her to ask the doctor if he'd rather fit you into the time slot that you can make or just not come in at all. That way you are leaving it up to him but in a nice way. Don't waver. It's not like you can do anything about it.

I dont think you are asking too much at all....They should take into consideration you have other children that are in school!
